Ossining Fire Forces Home To Be Torn Down

Ossining firefighters battled through the day, but in the end were unable to save a home at 49 Hunter St. The fire occurred at 3:45 a.m. at the two-family home, though no one was inside at the time, Assistant Chief Matthew Scarduzio said.
