Antagonism Toward Adversary Leads to Sanction

Ossining attorney Michael Deem was cautioned in 2011 by Judge Shira Scheindlin to "ratchet down" what the judge concluded were baseless personal attacks against an attorney for Westchester County, but in an opinion issued Monday, the judge said Deem failed to heed her warning.
