Turn T-Shirts into earth-friendly bags at Ossining's "Clothes the Loop" event at the Ossining Farmer's Market Nov. 15. OSSINING, N.Y. Down to Earth Markets is hosting "Green Ossining," along with the local Girl Scout troop for "Clothes the Loop," a recycling effort that includes turning T-shirts into shopping bags. The event, part of a nationwide effort known as " America Recycles Day," will take place at the Ossining Farmer's Market Saturday, Nov. 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The groups will collect clothing, linens, footwear and more.
