41 indicted, including 9 from one Syracuse family, in break-up of 2 massive drug operations

The New York state Attorney General's Office and state police say the arrests were made early Thursday in Syracuse, the Bronx, Manhattan, Ossining and in Paterson, New Jersey, following the investigation by New York's Organized Crime Task Force and other agencies. "Heroin has become one of the deadliest forces attacking communities across New York and the country," said Attorney General Schneiderman.
