OSSINING, N.Y. In a letter to parents, Ossining School District nurses are warning parents of the Enterovirus D68, which recently has been found among school-aged children in New York state, after affecting children in several other states. Nurses are urging parents to not send their children to school if they are experiencing these symptoms and to keep children at home until they are fever free for at least 24 hours without the use of medication.
