Ossining Hosts Civilian Police Academy

The Ossining Police Department is offering a civilian police academy from 7-9 p.m.Thursdays from May 7 through June 11. The academy will help students learn about the police function in Ossining and will expose them to various aspects of law enforcement through hands-on basic training. "We are excited to work with the community and share the passion that we have for our profession," officer Drew Maiorana said in a statement.
