The Ossining Public Library sent two teams to the Westchester County Battle of the Books, and its 6th-9th grade team won the competition for their age group, on Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Scarsdale Middle School. The 4th-6th grade team went to the semi-final round before being defeated.
